Bolzoni: "A prize for my work"

After six appearances in European and Italian cup competitions, Francesco Bolzoni came on for Cristian Chivu in the second half of Cagliari v Inter to make his Serie A debut for the Nerazzurri.

"I'm pleased to hear the coach's words," said the 20-year-old Italian midfielder when he heard himself described by Mourinho as a fantastic lad who deserved this moment. "Now we will see how it goes in the week because I have to have an operation. This debut was a prize, I have worked hard all season and I think that this is the reason why the coach decided to play me despite the injury.

"I was very excited today, I really wanted to play and this was my real debut. It was all different from the Coppa Italia or the Champions League," said Bolzoni, whose outing at the Sant'Elia was his first of the season. "I'm looking to the future now. I haven't trained much since March because of injury. It has been an unlucky season and I hope to do better next year.

"I have to thank Mourinho for teaching me how to be confident on the pitch, but I also have to thank all my team-mates who help me every day in training."

Ibrahimovic: "Thanks to my team-mates"

Against Cagliari at the Sant'Elia Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 23rd goal of the season to join Bologna's Marco Di Vaio on top of the Serie A scorers chart.

"I'm happy I scored, but even happier to know that the whole team is playing for me," Ibra told Inter Channel after listening to the words of his team-mate and captain Javier Zanetti. "I thank them all and I will be happy if I win the top scorers' title, but it's fine all the same if I don't."

Diego Milito today scored twice for Genoa to bring his tally for the season to 22 goals. "He's a player who is doing very well. I don't know if he signed a contract with Inter but if he has then we are all very happy," said Ibra on the Argentine striker."

On his form this season compared to last year, Ibrahimovic said: "I feel more complete now. I'm working hard to improve every day, my team-mates are helping me, I have grown a lot both on the pitch and off it. The more time passes, the better I feel."

And when it was pointed out how much the Inter shirt suits him, Zlatan replied with an ear to ear smile

Zanetti: "All for Ibra"

Javier Zanetti was the first player to talk on Inter Channel after the Nerazzurri's defeat in Cagliari.

"I think a draw would have been the most suitable result because it was a very balanced match," said the Inter captain. "They got the second goal and we reacted but we didn't manage to equalise."

At the Sant'Elia all the Nerazzurri tried hard to help Zlatan Ibrahimovic win the top scorers' title. "Yes, it's true, we really want to help Ibra score the goals he needs to win this title," said Zanetti. "He's top of the list with Di Vaio now, but let's hope that he can overtake him next Sunday."

On his wasted chance in the second half against Cagliari, Zanetti joked: "I remembered that I had to get Ibra to score so I didn't shoot."
